iphone 3g?

i am going to go on a family plan with my dad only. i want an iphone 3g, and he wants another phone. do we have to use the iphone family plans or can we get it with like a regular family talk plan? and if i get the regular family talk plan internet wont be included for my iphone right? so how much is the internet going to be for my iphone?

1. hey Robert .. you can have a family talk plan with an iPhone. You will have the regular voice plan to share and then you will have to add the iPhone data plan for your line at $30 for unlimited data ... texting will be extra
2. You can only use the iPhone Family plan which is $129.99 a month. Internet is included in the plan. It doenst sound as if you have done your research. Here is a link more on iPhone plans. Dont forget you have to pay $399 for your iPhone since you are already on a contract.
