How do I put songs on my iPod classic without syncing the whole thing?

I have an ipod classic(80g) and cannot put more songs on it. My songs are not on my computer and i do not want to sync my whole ipod and have to re download all the songs that already are on it. What do I do?

  1. i have one too and when you sync it make any changes that you made to for example a certain songs data. but it downloads any new songs when you click sync so the others just stay on there.
  2. set your ipod to "manually manage music" and just drag the songs that you want onto your ipod (while in itunes).
  3. When you plug it in, Make sure you check MANUALLY MANAGE MY LIBRARY... Then you can make any changes you want on any computer...
  4. take the song and trag to ipod name
  5. If i understand right then all you have to do is click on the name of your iPod under "Devices" and go to the settings. Click on "Manually manage music" and you should be good. Hope this answers your question. Good luck. =)
  6. OK you plug it into the computer then a box comes up you hit the X then you need to drag all the songs you want onto where it says your ipods name (like mine is called Courtney's ipod) then all you need to do next is to eject your ipod i hoped this help!
