How do I put songs from my computer on to my ipod classic?
I just got the 80 Gb Ipod Classic and can't figure out how to put songs from my computer onto it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

- Refer the user manual received with the ipod. basically you will need to load the cd (shud be in the ipod box) and then you just need to copy and paste.
- iTunes. After you install and import music from your PC to iTunes - Manually, you can drag the music which you want (by song or by highlighted group of songs), from the iTunes library on your computer (viewed by clicking the library option on the top left, and seeing the songs populate on the right) to the "iPod" option in the list on the left of the screen. This will copy songs into the iPod. You can also have iTunes automatically update your iPod with the music, but I'd only suggest doing that once, because it will continually update automatically every time you connect it, which can be a pain, as it takes a long time, and can make undesireable changes to playlists, etc.
- 1) www.apple.com is your friend don't be scared of it. it won't bite you. you bite it. LOOK AT THAT HUGE CHUNK OF APPLE MISSING FROM THE LOGO FOR GOODNESS SAKE! 2) Christine the 80gb Ipod classic doesn't come with a cd. The manual that comes with it is complete crap. At least mine didn't, however I've had an ipod before. 3) www.apple.com download iTunes and load your music from your pc to your ipod using that software. I would recommend disabling auto sync.
