How do I download songs from my computer to my ipod itouch?

I have a Dell with Windows Vista and when I plug in the Itouch, it doesnt sync. How do I sync it and how do I transport my songs etc to my itouch?

  1. On Itunes...you can import songs of of CD's or your computer then press sync!
  2. did you install the drivers on the CD that came with your ipod? if you did, go to control panel, add hardware and see if it comes up as a question mark. try to finish the installation from there. if not, try apple.com troubleshooting. i had this type of problem once.
  3. load all your songs into itunes, and then you can click "sync ipod" in the file portion of the top menu. www.apple.com/itunes itunes is a free download from that website.

  5. You need to have the latest version of itunes. Only that one syncs wiht the iPod Touch.

  7. You need to have iTunes 7.6 in order to sync music from your PC to your iPod touch or iPhone. Simply downlaod it from apple's website. All your files will stay in your iTunes library. If you already have it installed, make sure everything is plugged in properly. If nothing works, take it to the Apple store and talk to a "Genius" Apple's costumer service is simply phenomenal. They should be able to fix it, or they'll exchange it.
