iphone 3g?>?>>?

ok i really wanna be sur of this my friend is traveling to america and i told her to buy me the iphone 3g and here in the united arab emirates we use etisalat...so im just wondering will it work here??? some ppl are telling me it wont work...i cheked the countries united arab emirates is not in the country list...so thats why i wanted it from america so will it work over here..

1. The only way it could work over there, is if you have the service of it where you live
2. It is not going to work because now AT&T and Apple are activating the phones when you buy them, meaning that you have to get a two year contract with AT&T. Later on they are going to be selling the iphone without a contract but it will be more expensive.
3. You must unlocked the iPhone 3G to work with other carriers.

According to the World First review of the iPhone by Gossip Girl, which reveals so many secrets that Gizmodo and CNET didn't dare mention, she says that you've gotta unlock the phone, by paying AT&T an 'opt-out' fee for cancelling the contract. You also have to pay for the phone. Then you have to see if your carrier, Etisalat in your case, supports 3G, otherwise a lot of the features won't work. There are no more secrets...
