How much credit does the apple store take for selling your iTouch if you want to get another iPod? ?

I have an 8GB iTouch and I want to get the new nano. How much money will go towards the cost of my new nano ($150 8GB) if I give them my iTouch? Also, what do they take for the first generation nano?
