What is the difference between the new&improved itouch and the old itouch?

Hey im wondering what the difference in features is between the new itouch (being released sept. 19) and the old one. they look the same and they pretty much have the same features that i know of and the older one is cheaper, but is there anything different about the new one?

1. They are almost exactly the same: New one has a longer battery life, the back of it is slightly curved (and so a bit lighter), the new one is cheaper, and the new one has a physical volume controller. Other than that they are very similar.
2. The new iPod touch has a speaker built in, it has a different design (it says it "feels better in your hands") and when you shake it, it turns on shuffle music,and a longer battery life other than that, not much else other than it's cheaper
3. actually the new one is cheaper the design is more curved like and longer battery life and built in speakers and firmware 2.1 i suppose where u can buy from app store

5. There's speakers(which you can play music out of), A volume button since Apple had a lawsuit because you had to go through alot of stuff just to turn the volume down, better battery life, a cut price (100$ less), and a slimmer and unscratchable back. That's all I noticed or read about
