Will the new iPhone 3G have a price break anytime soon like the original iPhones did?

Do you know if the new iPhone 3G will have a price reduction?

1. Richard the new iPhone already has the price reduction at $199 or $299. The exception upgrade discounted price is $399 or 499 and the buy it at retail price with no commitment is going to be $599 and 699. As you can see thats already a considerable savings... dont look for a cheaper 3g iPhone anytime soon
2. I'd be surprised to see a price drop, since the 3G is a price drop from original. But, don't be surprised when they release a 32GB version, or even a "iPhone Nano".
3. They cannot go any lower than the $199 price. but the retail price, they might drop, who knows.
4. $200 for an iphone is very cheap. I dont think that Apple will drop the price for 6months to a year...maybe. Apple dropped the price last year because they sold so many in the 1st month they made back the cost to develop the iphone.
