Will there be a credit check if i add an iphone 3g to a current family plan?

Im planning on getting an iphone 3g and adding it to my parents family plan, will at&t or apple check my credit too or only my mom since she's the primary account holder?

1. Nope. You will have to provide them with the last 4 digits of the account holders SSN for security purposes, though. There is only a credit check for new customers.

3. No, they will just ask for the last four digits of the account holders social security number. They will determine if your account is in good standing and BAMM! You have your iPhone.
